Following on from yesterdays piece on the Lotus Racing Evora GTN upgrade packages we have now managed to get hold of a full brochure, detailing the individual parts that makes up the kits.
While the brochures disclaimer states all parts for track use only, it seems likely that some Evora owners may well be interested in applying some of the upgrade packs to their road cars, with items like the baffled sump, MY12 specification gear cables and Evora ‘S’ supercharger kit sure to be attractive for those looking to take their Evora on track.

Lotus Racing have been giving out details at Autosport International on a range of upgrade kits being made available for the Evora as part of the GTN upgrade package, based on race proven Evora GT4 and GTS developments.
Combined these kits will allow you to convert your road going Evora to full Evora GTN specification, however it seems likely that some of the packages will be of interest to those looking simply to toughen up their road car. Other upgrades also appear to include an Evora ‘S’ supercharger kit, for those looking to upgrade their normally aspirated Evora to the full ‘S’ supercharged specification.

Classic Team Lotus have published their quarterly review, looking back at the last 3 months of 2011.
It’s been a relatively quiet end to what has otherwise been a busy year for Classic Team Lotus, but the recently restored Lotus Eleven Sports chassis number 260 (right) looks stunning.
Lotus aren’t just at the Autosport International show this week, they’ve also got a stand at the Brussels Motor Show.
There doesn’t appear to be anything new at the show itself, but updated Technical Specifications have been published for the Elise S and Exige S, including fuel consumption and emission figures which had previously been TBC. Continue reading
Lotus Cars have released a full press release to accompany, including details on the companies partners in Indycar, karting and GT racing along with rebranding of Lotus Motorsport to Lotus Racing, the new Club GT scheme, the Evora GTS/N conversion kit for transforming road going Evoras in to track ready race cars and changes to Lotus Cup UK.

Lotus Renault have confirmed today that Kimi Räikkönen will return to an F1 car for the first time since 2009 later this month with a two day test at Valencia on January 23rd and 24th.
The test, designed to help reacclimatise the former world champion to F1 ahead of the scheduled pre-season tests, will be conducted using the 2010-spec Renault R30 on Pirelli demo-spec tyres as per regulations which limit the amount of testing for the teams.
