After yet more delays, customers with Exige S orders have received letters of apology from Lotus COO Aslam Farikullah this week, along with a complimentary copy of this years Evo Issue 177, in which the Exige took joint top honors in the coveted Evo Car of the Year feature.
Despite this customers are still waiting for revised build schedules and delivery dates, however dealers and customers visiting the factory for the Exige V6 Cup test day have shared pictures of dealer cars on the production line in various stages of the build process, including the cars destined for Bell and Colvill and Castle Lotus.
UK dealer demo cars are now reported to be around a week away from delivery – although many will no doubt remain skeptical until they are sat on forecourts.
