It was a day of limited running at Silverstone on Friday, with torrid conditions and a limited supply of full wet weather tyres for the weekend discouraging many from putting in any longer runs.
Romain Grosjean put in the quickest time in FP1, but didn’t set a time in FP2 – simply running a single installation lap.
Kimi Raikkonen elected only to run 6 laps in FP1 and 8 in FP2, setting the 16th and 8th fastest times respectively.
